About Me
My name is Laura and I’m a registered dietitan that takes an integrative and functional nutrition approach with my clients. I believe that we were created with the tools to heal our bodies through four pillars: faith, food, fitness and friends/community.
2012-2014
In 2012 I quit my full-time job to study nutrition and work with an anti-human trafficking organization in Greece. This experience transformed me as a person and a healthcare professional. I saw the impact that community, nutrition education and faith could have on an individual's life and how much healing came to those I got to care for. This has driven me to pursue a career helping others find healing through nutrition, fitness, community and education.
2016-2023
In 2016 I graduated with my Associates in Human Nutrition and Dietetics and started working in inpatient rehabilitation care. From there I moved to the NICU and pediatrics, which was one of my loves. Later, I transitioned back to the acute rehab setting where I helped with an Adaptive CrossFit gym and "Healthy" Meal Prep Delivery program. In early 2023 I graduated with my Bachelor's in Human Nutrition and Dietetics and have loved working in community nutrition helping women, infants and children.
